Order your Repeat Prescription
Important information about repeat prescriptions
Please allow a minimum of 3 working days for all repeat prescription requests to be processed. This does not include Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays.
1. Order repeats using the NHS Wales App
You can now access a range of health services using the NHS Wales App. The app provides a simple and secure way to: book routine appointments, order repeat prescriptions and view parts of your medical record.
To use the NHS Wales App, you must:
- Be aged 16 or over
- Have a fully verified NHS login or valid photo ID
You can download the app or use the desktop web version.
2. Requesting prescriptions in person
You can post your repeat prescription request to the surgery using our letter box at any time.
Please use the printed medication list provided with your last repeat prescription and only request the items you actually need.
If you would like your prescription posted back to you, please include a stamped addressed envelope. Please note this may take up to one week.
Acute (not on repeat) prescription requests
You can request one-off medications that you have been prescribed before, including medications recommended by the hospital.
Please allow 72 hours for acute prescription requests to be processed.
