Booking appointments
Appointments can be booked on the same day. Please telephone between 8:00am and 10:30am.
Our telephone lines are open from 8:00am to 6:30pm each weekday. We advise patients to call as early as possible.
Call the surgery on 01495 227131
Our reception team will ask a few questions about why you need an appointment. This helps us direct you to the most appropriate service, which may include a pharmacist, dentist, optician or another local healthcare provider.
Routine pre-bookable appointments are available with a GP, Practice Nurse, Health Care Assistant or Phlebotomist. These appointments are booked in advance and can be scheduled at a more convenient time.
Pre-bookable appointments fill quickly, so please book as early as possible.
eConsult
The practice offers eConsult, which allows patients to contact the practice online by completing a short form.
eConsult also provides self-help advice, pharmacy guidance and links to local self-referral services. You can request administrative services such as sick notes (MED3) and copies of medical records.
You will receive a response within 48 hours.
Telephone advice from a doctor
If you would prefer telephone advice, please contact the surgery before 10:30am.
The receptionist will take your details and add you to the triage list. A doctor will call you back when they are available.
Requesting a home visit
Home visits are for housebound patients only. Requests should be made, where possible, before 10:30am.
The receptionist will ask for details of the illness to help the doctor plan their visit. If the visit is urgent, please make this clear when you call.
Home visits are carried out at the discretion of the doctor.
When the surgery is closed
When the surgery is closed, please contact NHS 111 Wales by calling 111.
